Ingredients:
- 1 package of phyllo dough (usually found in the freezer section of most supermarkets)
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup chopped pistachios
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Thaw the phyllo dough according to the package instructions.
- In a bowl, mix together the chopped nuts, sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and salt.
- Layer the phyllo dough in a large baking dish, brushing each layer with melted butter.
- Sprinkle a quarter of the nut mixture onto the phyllo dough, then repeat the layering process three more times.
- Cut it into diamond-shaped pieces and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown.
